Obituary of John R Hughes

John Richard Hughes, 70, passed away Sunday May 11, 2014 at Waldo County General Hospital. He was born February 28, 1944 in New York a son of the late Ruth and Lois Hughes. John loved to play pool and take pictures, he loved camping, fishing and hunting. He was witty and smart and he always had a smile. John leaves behind 3 daughters Stacy Boyle and husband Stephen, Carrie Hughes and Kimberly Tripp and husband Lloyd, 7 grand children Amanda, Richard, Justin, Brooklynn, Stephen, Destiny and Max as well as 3 great grand children: Bryce, Emma and baby boy Sanford. The family wishes to thank the staff at Waldo County General Hospital for the wonderful care they gave John in his last days. The family will have a private memorial at a later date. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
