Obituary of Mary J Schultz

Mary J. Schultz, 71, of Belfast passed away Friday May 23, 2014 at EMMC in Bangor. She was born May 28, 1942 in Presque Isle a daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret (Gibbs) Madore. Mary lived in Connecticut for many years before returning to Maine where she loved and to raise her children. She was proud to work in the healthcare profession and did so for 34 years including her dedicated 20 years of work at Waldo County General Hospital. Most of all Mary loved spending time with her family and her dogs. She was predeceased by a sister Genieve, her sons James Michael Chasse, and Allen Craig Chasse and also the father of her children Ernest Camille Chasse. She is survived by her partner of 25 years Sherri Peniuk of Belfast, her children: Tami Lynn Day of Belfast, Scott “Freme” Chasse and companion Heather Leach of Corinth, and Anthony Joseph “Joe” Chasse and his wife Michelle of Morrill, siblings: her twin brother Fred Madore and his wife Priscilla of Kennebunkport, Toni Andrews and her husband George of Temple, John Madore and his wife Diane of NH, and Edward Madore of Patten, 6 grandchildren: Kelli Ann, Anthony Joseph II “AJ”, Alyssa Jane, Kyrika, Shiante and Zachary, as well as 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a special friend John Bastey. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 am Tuesday June 3, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Court St. Belfast, ME 04915 Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast, ME 04915 In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mary’s name to ASPCA or to the Bangor Humane Society 693 Mt.
