Louise Mary (Felix) Spear, 71, of Thorndike passed away September 14, 2014 after a long illness. She was born on October 1, 1943 in Marlboro, Mass. For the past 11 years Louise lived in Thorndike, ME where she fulfilled her dream of owning her own horse farm, she was a passionate horse lover and gardener. Louise worked as a Laboratory Technician for the past 30 years, 20 of those at Blue Hill Hospital. Louise is predeceased by her parents Robert and Mary Felix, brother Robert “Butch” Felix and sister Judy Felix Merlini all of Marlboro, MA. She is survived by her husband, James E. Spear of Deerfield NH; her two daughters Marianna Louise Spear of Dover, NH, Suzanne Spear Menczywor and husband Ronald of Deerfield, NH; her brother Richard Felix and wife Lorna of Sterling, MA and her beloved five grandchildren Dylan Menczywor, Arianna Spear, Megan Kenyon, Cassidy Menczywor and Cameron Kenyon. A memorial mass will be held at 10am on Monday September 22, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Church Belfast, Me. Interment will be held at a later date at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Marlboro, Massachusetts. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home Belfast, Me.
