Obituary of Raymond L. Bailey

RAYMOND L. BAILEY, 49, passed away at Tall Pines in Belfast on September 27, 2014. He was born May 12, 1965 in Belfast, the son of Claude and Vera Bailey. Raymond was a hard worker, always busy working with either his father on the rubbish route or making rope in Morrill. He was a very dedicated and responsible father to his kids. He loved to hunt and was known for being a joker. He is predeceased by his father; uncles John Sanford and Vaughn Gardiner. Survivors include his mother, Vera Bailey of Belfast; his children Raymond L. Stover, Michael A. Bailey and Katrina A. Bailey, all of Belfast; his half-brother, Sidney Harvey of Belfast; uncles and aunts, Mark Bailey, Arlene Reynolds, Clara Buzzell and husband Arthur, Merwin Harvey and wife Faye, Ralph Harvey and wife Ethel, Raymond Harvey and family, Elizabeth Keniston, Arthur Bailey and wife Marge, Merlene Ahearn and husband Floyd, Varina Blood and husband David, Conrad Gardiner and wife Barbara, Enoch Gardiner and wife; nieces Shaina Brown and Jen Harvey; cousins, Darrell Smith and wife Laurie, Darlene Fuller and husband Russell, Bert Bailey and wife Christine as well as his dog “Lost”. Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. on Friday, October 10th at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast. Committal will follow at Grove Cemetery.
