Obituary of Warren Batchelder

Warren L. Batchelder Jr., 62, of Belfast, passed away unexpectedly on October 6th, 2014. He was born on March 24th, 1952, in Belmont, the son of Warren and Marion (Gross) Batchelder Sr. Warren enjoyed collecting cars and ink pens, playing cards, watching wrestling and western movies, spending time with family and friends, and helping people, even if he didn’t know them. He was a loving Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and Friend, who will be missed deeply. He is predeceased by his Parents, a Son Jonathan, a Brother Douglas, and his Twin Sister Wanda. Warren is survived by his partner Elsie Geary of Belfast, his loving children Tammy Watts and husband Chris of Lincolnville, Jason Batchelder and partner Shannon of Maryland; siblings Rudolph (Veronica), Maurice (Deloris), Robert (Patricia), and Ralph (Betty) Hamm, Meredith Hart, and Lewis Murray; grandchildren Christopher (Ashley), Matthew, Nicholas & Bradlee Watts, as well as Mikaela, Emma, Jonathon, & Taylor Batchelder; great-grandchildren Quinn & Willow Watts; many nieces, nephews, cousins; a special dog Maggie Mae; and his Church Family at Crossroads Community Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Saturday October 18, 2014 at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast, ME followed by a gathering at the American Legion Hall, 143 Church Street, Belfast, ME. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in his memory to Crossroads Community Baptist Church at 2266 Belfast Road Lincolnville, ME 04849 or to Tammy Watts 274 Greenacre Road Lincolnville, ME 04849.
