Obituary of Elaine Grant

ELAINE GRANT, 84 of Addison, passed away December 31, 2014 at Jonesport. She was born in Addison on March 1, 1930 to William and Susie (Wass) Thompson. Elaine was a member of the United Methodist Women’s Group at Faith United Methodist Church. You would always see “Wanie” with an infectious smile on her face. She loved to sing and play the piano any chance she got. She was predeceased by her parents and husband Guy G. Grant and brothers Harry A. Thompson, Allen C. Thompson and Justin A. Thompson. Elaine is survived by her sons, Anthony W. Grant of Addison and Barry S. Grant of Nashua, New Hampshire; brothers, Kenneth Thompson and Billy Thompson, both of Addison; seven grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. May 30th, 2015 at Faith United Methodist Church in Columbia, Maine with Pastor Dan Blevins officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
