Obituary of John Oliver Dodge

John O. Dodge, 82, of Montville, passed away on July 21, 2015 at his home. He was born April 29, 1933, the son of John and Madonna Dodge. John was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a poultry farmer for many years. He also delivered the Bangor Daily News and was a coastal warden. In John’s spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, woodworking and doing just about anything outdoors. His children will remember his talent for many things, especially as a musician on the guitar. He is predeceased by his parents and spouse, Lorraine. He is survived by his children: John W. Dodge of Morrill, Cindy Hafford of Bangor, Sandra Dodge of Montville, Scott Dodge of Belfast, Laurie Jackson of Washington, and Heidi Dodge of Dexter, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and toy poodle Moppsie.
