Obituary of Joyce Elise Koch

Joyce Elise Koch, 87, of Bath, Maine, died peacefully there on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from natural causes. Joyce was born in Wilmington, Delaware in 1928 to the late Albert and Ruth Breaton Silver and was one of their two daughters. She attended Wilmington Friends School and became a Legal secretary for most of her adult life. An avid reader and bridge player, Joyce was independent by nature and remained so until the end living peacefully in the Bath, Maine area for many years. She is survived by her daughter Eve Ann Koch Hofert, son-in-law David K Hofert, and grand daughter Madison C Hofert all of Newton, Massachusetts; and also her former husband, Paul M Koch of Truro, Massachusetts. No public services will be held.
