Obituary of Hanley Edgar Nickerson

UNITY, MAINE—Hanley E Nickerson, 59, of Unity, Maine passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 27, 2016. He was born in Hartland, Maine on August 20, 1956, the Son of the late Oscar Rodney and Doris Glennis (Mailman) Nickerson. He was honorably discharged from the US Navy in 1990 after 16 years of service. He is survived by his wife Lisa Nickerson of Unity, Maine; his children: AJ Nickerson of Knox, Maine and Nicholas Nickerson of Unity; his siblings: Bruce Nickerson of Jackson, Maine, Albert Nickerson and his wife, Denise of Troy, Maine, and Sylvia Brown and her husband, George Jr. of Benton, Maine; his grandchildren, Zach, Jacie, Ava, and Jayden, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial will be held at Maine Veterans Cemetery on April 1, 2016 @ 2pm.
