Obituary of Richard F. Parsloe

Richard “Dick” Parsloe Sr., 76 of Northport, passed away on August 11, 2019 in Belfast. Dick was born on August 28, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late George and Minerva Parsloe. He grew up in Milton MA until he married the love of his life Alismarie and they moved to Sharon MA to raise their family. After retirement he and Alismarie moved to his family’s root of Maine. Dick loved the outdoors, his vegetable garden, woodworking and traveling the world but his true love was his family. He was predeceased by his parents; his sons, Ryan Parsloe and Christian Parsloe; his brothers, Stanley Parsloe, William Parsloe and Rolfe Parsloe; his sisters, Janet Mahoney, Joyce Gardner and Joanne Glasspool and by his son-in-law Dennis Condon. Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years, Alismarie Parsloe; his children, Cyndi Condon, Richard Parsloe Jr., Mark Parsloe and his wife Kim and Douglas Parsloe; his sisters June Seamens and Jayne Haverty; his nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday August 24, 2019 at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Belfast. Burial will take place privately.
