Obituary of Harold E Hubbard

Harold Edson Hubbard, 79, of Montville, Maine went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. Knowing Harold would not want anyone to continue to mourn over him, he would want his obituary to be light hearted and to be remembered for the man he was. Harold was an honest man who said it the way it was, who never held back his opinion when asked (and sometimes when he wasn't asked!), was generous to those he loved and had a deep faith and belief in God. Harold enjoyed life and passed his values onto his children and grandchildren that he loved so much. His joys in life included hunting, fishing, watching and reading westerns and the music of George Jones. If you ever needed to get him to talk all you had to do was bring up a hot political topic. Harold was a family man that loved his wife and his 3 children. His grandchildren however held a very special place in his heart. You could either find him sipping coffee from a special mug they gave him, watching a ball game with them or passing out candy to them even though the parents said “No!”. Harold's work history began at a young age but he was most noted for his time driving truck for Fort Halifax Poultry, M. A. Haskell and West Lynn Creamery. He was predeceased by his parents Edson and June (Reopelle) Hubbard, his brother Timothy, brother Frankie, and sister Beverly (Hubbard) Knowles. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Christine (Stewart), children Laurel Hubbard and wife Lisa, Roland Hubbard and wife Nicole and Brenda (Hubbard) Smith and husband David. Along with his grandchildren Christina, Brent, Sarah, Meghan, Atlas & Aiden. And siblings Edson, Ronald, Stanley, James, Joan and Larry along with several nieces and nephews. He will be missed deeply by all those that loved him so much.
