Obituary of Cheryl A. Harriman

Cheryl A. Harriman Waldo Cheryl A. (Seekins) Harriman of Waldo passed away peacefully on February 26th at Sussman House in Rockport following a long illness. She was born Dec. 10, 1954 at Waldo County Hospital in Belfast, the daughter of Harold & Berdina (Hubbard) Seekins Sr. Cheryl grew up in Searsport, and graduated from Searsport District High School in 1973. After graduation she worked at Waldo Shoe, Truitt Brothers in payroll. Then for the next 25 + years she worked at Bradbury Nursing Home/Harbor Hill as office manager, after that she worked until retirement at the office of Loren D. Baldus, D.M.D. as office administrator. Cheryl loved camping, traveling, shopping, her flower gardens and most of all time spent with her family and grandchildren. On April 26, 1980 she married Marshall A. Harriman and briefly lived in Belfast, then moved and lived until her death in Waldo. Cheryl is survived by her husband of 38 years, and his two daughters Leslie (Harriman) Fowlie of Appleton and Tonya (Harriman) Quitugua and husband Robert of Texas; siblings, Harold Seekins and wife Nancy of Belfast, Cindy (Seekins) Skinner and husband Jon of Belfast, Michael Seekins and wife Terrie of North Searsport; brother-in-law Dennis Harriman and Gail Waterhouse of Randolph; sister in-laws, Esther (Harriman) Colby and husband Stanley of Swanville, Sharon (Harriman) York and Ronald Watt of Waldo, Jean (Harriman) Tripp and Leal Wood of Belfast; grandchildren, Casey (Fowlie) Dickson and husband Matt of Jefferson, Kara (Fowlie) Smith and husband Andrew of Lincolnville, Nikki Fowlie and Cole Tarbell of Lyman, and Dominic Quitugua of Texas;great grandchildren, Rylee, Piper, Owen, and Alvah; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cheryl was predeceased by her parents, mother and father-in-law Lloyd & Winifred (Foy) Harriman, brother Bruce Seekins, sister-in-law, Linda (Chute) Harriman. A memorial gathering will be held from 4-6 pm on Thursday March 7, 2019 with service to follow on Friday at 11 am at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
