Thomas and Louisa, Thomas and Louisa, I have fond memories of living next door you on Washington Avenue, and always enjoyed my conversations with you mother. I am sad to hear that she has passed away. She was a brilliant, quiet spirit who loved her family and cats. I learned so much about kitty cats, gardening and cooking from your mom. I knew that her work at Washington University was important, but she never tooted her own horn. She was an amazing woman. My condolences to you all for your loss. Lisa Van Amburg

I want to extend my sympathy to Thomas, and Louisa and their families. As you know, we were neighbors for so many decades and we shared so much including our love of cats. As I recall one of your cats was father to two of Tabby's litters and they were great kittens. Living right across the street we knew each other well. I was happy when Tom, you and Dave hung out together. . I always liked your mom very much and thought she had an obvious depth and wish that we would have shared more of our experiences together. I offer the family of Juanita my thoughts and prayers. Please know that I am happy to have shared our lives together....
