I have fond memories of this lovely lady from our days in Cape Porpoise, Maine. We worked together on many pancake breakfasts and bean suppers raising funds for the upkeep of Atlantic Hall, a former fire station that now houses the library and community function hall. At the time I did not know that Dick and are are both descendants of the Pickerings of Salem. My deepest sympathies to Dick, Tina, Richard and Nate...

When we moved to Penobscot Shores, jane and Dick invited us to their home for cocktails and dinner. Jane was just beginning to show signs of dementia but was gracious and lively in spite of it. She was a beautiful, kind lady who loved her family very much. Lee and Tom Deroche
