Eldora was part of my life before I was born. She taught business education to my Mom at Belgrade High School and to many generations of proud Central Maine families. The family lived most of their years in Belgrade Village and shared a house with my Auntie, Eva McDermott. As I recall, the only person who got away with calling her Dolly was her former husband Lyle. She, Beth and Jean was a constant part of my life and I still consider them family.
