She was a great teacher and touched so many lives. Always a true lady and I can't remember her ever losing her calm control. So glad she was part of our family !! At least now her pain has ended and she'll know only peace. So many are better for knowing her.

Eldora was part of my life before I was born. She taught business education to my Mom at Belgrade High School and to many generations of proud Central Maine families. The family lived most of their years in Belgrade Village and shared a house with my Auntie, Eva McDermott. As I recall, the only person who got away with calling her Dolly was her former husband Lyle. She, Beth and Jean was a constant part of my life and I still consider them family. My thoughts and prayers go to her family. Heaven gained a great teacher !. Kathy Nelson Holbrook, Homosassa FL

I was a student of Eldora's at Messalonskee High School. She was strict with the lessons and kind in interactions with her students. I have used the business skills learned from her in the years since high school. I think of her when I review a paper and see my typos. I can hear her now! I appreciate her many times in many ways and hope her family has a lifetime of good memories to make the days ahead easier to get through. My thoughts are with you.
