Mr. Porter was my neighbor while I resided in Brooks..... a quiet gentleman, who always offered up extra produce from his garden. After the ice storm of 98 that took down my large maple and my electric meter right off of my house, he graciously offered to hard wire my furnace and a few appliances to his electrical service. I was so grateful for his generosity as it took three weeks for meter to be reattached to my home. He is well remembered.... so sorry for your loss.
