"I love a parade" I don't think you actually went to a single parade in the entire time you were my dad, and yet I can remember you singing about your love for parades numerous times. Day, night, summer, winter, holidays, ordinary days; it didn't really matter. You always loved a parade. The thing is, we never needed a parade with you around. You were always more colorful than a parade. You were always more entertaining than a parade. You were always more exciting than a parade. Who needs candy and a marching band when we had you? You will forever be here singing in your ears. You will forever be here making us laugh. You will forever be our own special parade. So I guess, I love a parade too, Dad.
