Obituary of Robert M. Cunningham

Robert M. Cunningham, 52 of Searsmont, passed away on April 06, 2018. He was born on May 31, 1965. Robert was a U.S. Navy veteran proudly serving on the USS Saratoga. He served from 1983-1988 as Aviation Structural Mechanic Airman, handling flight deck operations for Fighter Squadron Seventy-Four VF-74. He was predeceased by his father, Donald Cunningham. He is survived by his mother, Linda Cunningham; brothers, Vincent Cunningham and Michael Cunningham; sisters, Janet Hubbard and Melissa Vallee; nephews, Phillip Hubbard, Timothy Hubbard, Brandon Vallee and Christopher Cunningham. nieces; Meghan Gerdin and Jessica Vallee. great nephews; Colin Hubbard and Jayden Cunningham; great nieces, Grace Gerdin, Misha Cunningham and Gabrielle Hubbard. He had many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as life-long friends he considered his family. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm and June 1 at Maine Veterans Cemetery Augusta. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home in Belfast.
