Obituary of Jacob Casavant

Jacob R. Casavant, 41, passed away March 15, 2018 at his home. He was born on October 19, 1976 in Springfield MA but has lived his entire life in Maine. Jake was a talented artist who had a passion for science, space and space exploration. He was a generous man with a big heart whose heart was completely devoted to his niece Olivia and nephew Eli. Jake was predeceased by his grandparents, Lucien and Madeline Casavant and John and Rose Borowiec. He leaves behind his mother Donna Sheeran; his father Urban Casavant; his brother and sister-in-law Matt and Crystal Casavant; his grandfather Robert Morin; his cherished niece and nephew Olivia and Eli; his lifelong best friends Frank Washburn and Ray Walsh and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends and family may gather for visitation hours on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Riposta Funeral home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast Maine 04915. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Belfast. A reception will follow immediately in the church fellowship hall.
