Obituary of John T. Bean

John T. Bean, 76, passed away March 8, 2018 in Belfast. John was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on November 3, 1941 to the late John and Gertrude Bean. He grew up in Pennsylvania until he married Susan and settled in Massachusetts until retiring to Maine twenty years ago. John proudly served an enlistment in the United States Marines; was a ham radio operator and enjoyed bicycling. John is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Susan Bean; his brothers Paul and wife Jane, Richard and wife Cathy and Gregory and wife Margaret and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to all those who showed kindness to John throughout his care; including the first responders, the emergency room and second floor nurses and doctors of Waldo County General Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Riposta Funeral Home.
