Have to agree with Cousin Steve's post below: Uncle Frank had one of the best laughs ever, and it was definitely contagious....He saw the humorous side in everything, from the late night accordion/harmonica sessions with my Dad, to my grandfather teaching me pigeon English (Uncle Frank used to love telling the story of Poppy destroying my three-wheel bike with the landscaping truck after some revelry with his bocce buddies!) and the family-wide shared fear of my mother. I will never forget when my Mom sent me up to Uncle Frank in Maine to buy my first car (a light blue Datsun B210) from a local auction and the extreme effort he took to make sure Mom would be happy with the purchase! By the way, she was... The last time I saw him, he and Uncle Dominic were taking such pleasure and pride in sitting in on one of my trials. We had a lot of laughs about that, and it's a great way to remember him and his enduring smile. It stinks to have lost him, but it was wonderful to have known him, and he will always be remembered fondly....May he rest in peace. Regards and condolences to Aunt Layla, Alicia, Larry and Franny........Cousin Billy

Auntie, Franny, Alicia, Larry I am deeply saddened for your loss. I only hope your memories will give you some peace and comfort. Uncle Frankie was my favorite uncle… I have so many fond memories as a kid at the house in Shoreham and the summer I spent in Maine. I was glad to spend time with him when he came to New York a few years back, we had some good conversations. As I was departing my last visit from Maine Uncle Frank was MIA… Driving out and heading back to New York there's uncle Frank coming out of his breakfast tavern. I stopped to give him a hug and he says "Charlie don't tell anybody I was here, you never saw me". Uncle Frank you put a big smile on my face that day… I'll Never forget you!!!! Love Charlene
