One the many things I am going to miss in not having Albert’s presence among us is his genuine interest in the people and world around him. If anyone shared with Albert a story or a thought that was current on his or her mind, one would see Albert’s eyes light up with shared interest. He would smile broadly and exclaim, “Is that right? Isn’t that SOMETHING!” He was the ultimate listener – one who truly empathized with the feelings and enthusiasm of his companions. I can’t adequately describe how much this man meant to me and how much he will be missed.
