So sorry to hear of "Hemmy's" passing. I was his cousin but we Rices lived in CA so didn't get to see him, and the rest of our cousins, as much as we wanted to. I still have memories of our times at Granny's house and at the beach in Northport. We were all so young then. My love to all his children and family.

Henry was my cousin as well. We always lived quite far apart, so did not have the opportunity to visit very often. However, I loved our family visits to Cleveland with all the Leighs...have such good memories of those trips. Much later, my husband, Reuel, and I got to make several visits to Maine. While there, Henry was so kind to take us hiking and sightseeing around Camden. I remember the beautiful wooden boxes he was making. He also helped Reuel pick out a pair of hiking boots that he still wears. We will miss him. Love, Virginia Hamilton

Henry Leigh was my cousin and we grew up near each other. In our early teens, he and I would play one-one-tackle football on his front lawn. He won. Constantly. He loved the natural world. He was a woodworker, a lover of anima ls and an enthusiastic dad, skier and hiker. Campfires and digging for clams at his grandmothers beach gave him pleasure to host. I will miss him.
