Obituary of Matthew Henry Hall

Matthew Henry Hall, 43, passed away on January 13, 2018 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor after battling leukemia. Matthew was born in 1974 in Belfast to Peter and Barbara Hall of Belfast. He graduated from Belfast Area High School and then from Beal College in Bangor. He was a Corrections Officer (Corporal) with Waldo County Sheriff’s Office. Matthew enjoyed gardening, taking walks and riding on this motorcycle but his most valued time was being with his family. Matthew is survived by his loving wife of 9 years Mary Ali Hall of Brooks; his beautiful daughter Shelby Angelyn Hall; his parents; his brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Lori Hall; his niece and nephew Haley and Brendan Hall and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast Maine. A celebration of Matthew’s life will be announced at a later time.
