Obituary of David C. Hamilton

David C. Hamilton, 75, passed away October 30, 2017 in Portland. Born and raised in Belfast by the late Clarence and Beatrice Hamilton. He proudly served in the United States Army and after retirement from the Army, he returned to Belfast. David loved to go camping and has been gardening for the last few years. David was predeceased by his parents; his brothers Everett Nickerson and Richard Nickerson and by his sister Rachael Nickerson. Surviving are his loving wife of 44 years, Cherisse Marable Hamilton; his children Bert H. Hamilton and his wife Jane, David B. Hamilton and his wife Angela, Steven E. Hamilton and his wife Catina and Amanda J. Fongeallaz and her husband Richard; his grandchildren Richard III, Maria, Taylor and Rilee; his sister Deborah Paradis and her son Joshua. Per David’s request, there will be no funeral services. A graveside service will be announced when details are completed.
