Bobby, our hearts go out to you. Louis was always a pleasure to be around. As a teenager, I didn't realize how much of an impact that Louis would make on me. I will never forget our time together and Louis will always be remembered by me as an honest, hard-working, genuine man that I was fortunate to call my friend.

From days at Tall Pines with Ginny and Lou, throughout all the seasons and years Louie helped make the world more beautiful. Not only with his excellent eye and expressions of love through nature, gardens and plantings, but even moreso with his genuine goodness, kind generosity of Spirit and never failing willingness to reach outside of himself with joy and appreciation. I will miss his presence here on earth, as I miss his parents, but take comfort and pleasure with and from the beauty he has created. Deepest condolences to his family and dear friends. He was and will be always loved. Lise Herold

Bob and family The loss I feel is certainly small to that of your family. Louis was one of the good ones! Great laugh, sense of humor and that smile and twinkle in this eye! I will think of him often.and remember our Van Halen concert! We all grew up together, started our careers about the same time, found our rewards about the same time too. Louis was an inspiration. I will miss him yearly. Regards Hammon Buck

My heart goes out to you and your family Bobbie and my prayers are with you. Each season I would walk out my door and so enjoy the beautiful work you and Lou did at Crosby Manor. Enjoying those big snow winters was easy because you guys kept us safe and secure. I will never forget how much Riley loved you and Lou. (She was always a good judge of people.)

Where do I begin? He was the most kind, generous and gentle man I have known. His oustanding gardens are a testimant to his passion for creativity and beauty. He was a dedicated family man and my best friend. No words can describe how I will miss him always.
