Obituary of Theresa Ann King

Theresa Ann ( Engelhardt ) King, 78, of Frankfort passed away peacefully on August 10th 2017 after fighting Alzheimer's for over 11 years. She was born in Hartford CT. on October 25,1938 she was born to Theadore and Mary (Paul) Engelhardt. She was precdeceased by her loving husband Melvin E King Sr. a son Richard King, a Grandson George James King and her parents. She was survived by 3 brothers Robert , Theadore and Donald Engelhardt, her son Melvin E King Jr and wife Susanne, Ronald and Alice King.Daughters Linda Chamberland, Gloria Carney and her husband Mark, Sandy King and her daughter Carol Colson and husband Kevin Colson she has many grandchildren Michael,Nicholas,Tammy,Jason,Paul,Joshua,Jessica,Melissa,Christopher,Anthony, Kortney, Chantal and Erik and many great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Special long time friends and family Cyrena Linscott, Zina,Elaine Gray, Lauren, April,Cliff, Stef, Ash, Nancy and Wayne. She will be forever remembered with her red lipstick and nail polish, playing cards and singing and dancing. She was a loving and happy person that loved to make people laugh and the best Wife, mother, grandmother and friend anyone could ever have. You will be missed. She will be Welcomed by God and reunited with her loved ones. Family and friends are invited for visiting hours on Tuesday August 15 from 5 to 7 pm at Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast. A graveside interment will be held at 11 am on Saturday August 19th at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Freedom. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to Alzheimer's Association in Theresa's memory.
