Obituary of Leslie D. Perkins

Leslie “Les” D. Perkins Jr., 61of Freedom ME passed away June 29, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Leslie was born on October 29, 1955 in Grasmere, NH. He was raised in Weare NH and moved to Freedom in 2014. He proudly served in the United States Army. Les was known to be quite a jokester and was a New York Yankee baseball fan. He was predeceased by his father Leslie D. Perkins Sr., and his brother Scott Perkins. Surviving members of his family are his wife Carrie Perkins; mother Sally Putonen; siblings, Linda Dwinnells and her husband John, Alan Perkins and his wife Patricia, April Ciotti and Jonathan Perkins; step-daughter Allyson Ames; aunt Marilyn Buxton and her husband Roger and several nieces, nephews, cousins and his best friend Robert Young.
