Obituary of Frederick Elmer Brackett

Frederick Elmer Brackett, 88, of Searsport, passed away June 12, 2017 in Belfast. He was born September 18, 1928 in Belfast to Hazel M. (Dean) and Stuart E. Brackett. Frederick was a life member of the VFW and a World War II veteran. He retired from the US Navy in 1970. Frederick was predeceased by his parents, his brother and his wife Charlotte (Smith) Brackett. He is survived by his children Betsy E Wallace of Pittston and Eugene M Grey of Millington, TN; grandchildren Signe L. Wallace and Corey E. Wallace of Waldoboro; great-grandchildren Mikayla R. Wallace and Cole S. Wallace of Waldoboro; several nieces, nephews and cousins; his grandpup, Sadie Mae Wallace, and his own beloved little dog Sarah. In lieu of flowers, any donations in Frederick's name can be made to St. Jude Hospital.
