Obituary of Clair F Bagley

Clair F. Bagley, 92, of Belfast, passed away March 18, 2017. He was born on January 20, 1925 in Hartland, Maine, to Madeline (Stubbs) and Thomas Edwin Bagley, Sr. Clair was a World War II survivor of the Battle of the Bulge. He was a life member of Quantabacook Masonic Lodge in Searsmont; had just received his 50-year medal from Grand Lodge of Maine; Past Patron of Arbutus Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in Liberty; Past Noble Grand of Sears Lodge of Odd Fellows in Searsport; and a member of Knyvetta Rebekah Lodge in Searsport. He was also a member of the American Legion and VFW of Belfast. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife Gertrude; son Jeffrey M. Bagley and three brothers: Richard, Vernon and Thomas E. Bagley, Jr. Clair is survived by his daughters: Faye Ward and husband Thurlow of Searsport, and Judith Fenwick of Belfast; daughter-in-law June Bagley of Fort Worth, Texas; sister-in-law Evelyn Bagley of Albion; six grandchildren: Jeremy and Adam Ward, Lori Thole, Nicole Sanborn, Dereck Bagley and Caitlin Hootes; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and good friend Linda Lord. There will be no public services as per Clair's wishes.
