Obituary of Florence G. Carchide

Florence G. Carchide, 88 of Searsport passed away March 4, 2017 in Bangor. Born December 17, 1928 to the late Neil and Orilla Curit, she was raised in Yarmouth, ME. Florence enjoyed cooking and always seemed to have a book in her hands. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Sam Carchide; her daughter Diane Carchide and her 5 siblings. Surviving are her loving children, Catherine Leathers and her husband Morris of Belmont, Susan Leathers of Swanville and Richard “Dicky” Carchide of Searsport; her 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Private services have been entrusted to the Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, ME 04915.
