Obituary of Norman W Grant

Norman W. Grant, 81, of Swanville, passed away on Monday Feb. 27, 2017. He was born in Passadumkeag on August 29, 1935 to Gladys Sibley and George Breyer Grant. Norman was in the US Army and received an honorable discharge. He was a woodcutter for most of his career. He was considered unique to those who knew him and he had friends from all walks of life. He was married to Beatrice Lenfest Maxwell for 33 years. Norman was predeceased by his parents and brother-in-law Russell Lanphere. Norman leaves behind his sister Janice Lanphere; daughters Bonnie Grant, Tammy Cook, Trudy Norman and spouse Boyd Norman, Sr; a special niece Debra Freeman; special nephew Michael Larrabee; and special friend Marie Bragdon and son Toran. He will be missed by all, including his four grandchildren: Laurie, Angela, Jessica, Desiray and nine great-grandchildren. A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
