Obituary of Conrad A Anderson

Conrad Anderson, 86, of Frankfort, passed away on February 2, 2017. Conrad was born April 22, 1930 in Holden, MA to Carl A. and Jeanette (Ward) Anderson. Conrad graduated from Searsport High School. He was a Lance Corporal in the Marines and served in the Korean War as a sharpshooter. He liked classical music and sports, loved to play chess, and was a skilled carpenter. Conrad was predeceased by his parents, brothers Alfred and Elbert Anderson, and sisters: Matilda Fugere and Phyllis Scales. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years, Clydella; children: Carl A. Anderson, Dale Anderson and his wife Tammy, and Lynn Anderson; grandchildren: Jonathan and David Anderson, Joseph Sawyer and wife Stephanie, Crystal Burlingame and husband Andrew, and Nicole Kraus; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on February 9, 2017 from 6-7pm with a funeral service to begin at 7pm at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. Dr. Jerry Mick will officiate, assisted by Rev. Tom Channell. Burial will take place in the spring.
