Obituary of Rena C. Littlefield

Rena C. Littlefield, 88, passed away January 27, 2017 at Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast. Born in Exeter Maine to the late Leon and Ferne Crosby, she spent most of her childhood in Brooks. After Rena raised six children, one of which was her niece, she then spent 20 years working as a CNA for Pen Bay. She loved to read and do crafts such as knitting, ceramics and sewing. Rena and her husband Ralph enjoyed spending some winters in their Florida home. Rena was predeceased by her son Barry Littlefield Sr., who passed away in 1992 and by several of her siblings. Surviving are her loving husband of almost 70 years, Ralph Littlefield Sr., of Belfast; her children, Ralph Littlefield Jr., and his wife Anne of Palermo, Rhonda Carlen and her husband David of Knox, Michael Littlefield and his wife Sandra of Charlotte and Heidi Gould and her husband Gary of Winterport; her 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, ME 04915 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Funeral service will take place on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Morrill Baptist Church, 25 S. Main St., Morrill, ME 04952. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rena’s name to the Fair Haven Camps, 81 W. Fair Haven Lane, Brooks, ME 04921.
