Obituary of Wayne Knight

Wayne R. Knight, 70, passed away November 18, 2016 at home. Born in Bangor to the late Paul and Georgie Knight; he grew up in Newburgh. Wayne proudly served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of Vietnam and Iraq War. The first in his family to graduate from college. Receiving a B.A. in Accounting and Business Administration. A mechanic by trade known to be able to fix anything; enjoyed Nascar and cooking. Wayne was predeceased by his parents and his brother Harlan Knight. Surviving are his children, Heather Knight of Hermon and Paul Knight and his wife Amanda of Hermon; his grandchildren Sadé T. Knight, Destinee A. McBean-Knight, Ashton Knight and Ava Knight; his sister Jackie Aubrey and her husband Bryon of Kenduskeag; his nieces and nephews; his beloved dog Bear and a host of loving friends who were more then just friends but truly family. A Celebration of Life will be held December 4th from 2-5pm at Dysarts on Broadway in Bangor. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.ripostafh.com.
