Sorry to hear about Bill. Although we were not close friends, We always managed to chat with other on those rare occasion we saw each other. we may have not seen each other often , but I felt as if we were friends. I have great respect for how Bill handled and managed the Waldo County Little League many years ago. In my opinion, he was the best WCLL President ever. I also know all the efforts he put into the Searsport Lions Club/Fund raising and efforts he gave. Example: He would drive all the way to my place of business in Belmont on one occasion to make it be known of the fund raising breakfast at the Searsport Lions.
