Eric's Mom (Maxine) and my Grandmother were the best of friends for many years. When I was about 10 years old (1971), Eric took me for my first snowmobile ride on his family property on Waldo Ave., located where Riposta/Crabriel Funeral home now resides. It was an experience that I've never forgotten (maybe because of the frost bite I endured as a "City kid" who didn't have snowmobile gear). Several years later, we got together for another weekend of snowmobiling and ice fishing at a camp "UP NORTH" where we had a time that I will always cherish with what would be eventually our now spouses. We actually rearranged our wedding dates so that we could attend each others special day (Beth and Eric's day was one week later than ours, August 14, 1982). We (Beth, Eric, Benny and I), became neighbors, as well as good friends, living only a few blocks from each other in Stockton Springs for a few years. We kind of lost touch after our move back to Belfast in 1991. I will cherish and never forget our friendship and one day we may all meet again. Rest in Peace, my dear, old friend. ♥ Eric helped me through a rough time in my life and I have, and always will cherish our friendship. I regret letting life get in the way of our friendship with both Eric and Beth. I'm sending LOVE to Eric's whole family, :'(
