Dear Kathleen and family, I was so sorry to hear about Richard's passing. Although I didn't know him well, or see him as often as I saw Kathleen, I enjoyed our occasional chance encounters, initially at the Carver Library many years ago, and more recently around Belfast. He was quiet, with a sweet smile and gentle demeanor that made me wish to know him better. I guess all I really knew about his life was that he had been a commercial pilot for many years, which impressed me greatly. May you all find peace over time and hold on to the good memories.
