I ran the store on the corner in Lincolnville. Richard was a regular, and was one of my more memorable customers. He always had a great sense of humor, and was a very smart man. He was always nice to me, and made me wish that when I was his age, that I could have the same great attitude towards life. He was a local character who will be missed by those of us who were always amused by his keen wit, and his willingness to challenge whatever he felt was unreasonable.
