Dear Billy, Sandra, John and Family, So many fond memories of the McKechnie family as I grew up in South Brewer also. When I started teaching physical education and coaching in 1974, Kelly was my dream student. Always there to lend a helping hand...Always there with her warm smile and laughter .....Always there to do her best and beat her best....Always there to encourage and support everyone..... I just thought the world of Kelly and now she’s on God’s team as one of the loving and caring angels. Maybe I’ll see you again someday, my twin, as many people thought we looked like sisters. May God bless all of the Gage and Mckechnie families. I am so very sorry for your loss. Cindy (Lemke) Perrone

Kelly had so many gifts. One of my favorite memories of her is the way she'd welcome you to her home, with a radiant smile, and arms open wide, like you were the most important person in the world. What a joyful spirit! Bless you, John, and family.

I knew Kelly through the family of her sister, Sandra Moses. When I was a teenager, I babysat for Kelly’s wonderful nieces, Lisa and Kelly. It was clear that Kelly was a special Aunt to the girls, and I can still see her huge smile and hear her infectious giggle. My heart is with the Moses family and with all who were touched by Kelly’s fun-loving spirit. Rest In Peace Kelly ❤️

We have so many special memories with Kelly as one of the lead football moms, that always went above and beyond the call of duty. She loved her sons so much, as well as the game of football, that she made sure that all involved were going to have a quality experience. Angela said it best when she said, " Kelly taught me how to love life and how to treat people." Her infectious laugh would echo throughout any room she was in, which always made the time we were in a better one. Our hearts go out John and the boys. Please realize our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My beautiful Kelly will be missed by many. She was full of life and had many friends. Knowing her as a child left so many memories of laughing, Kindness, and her love for family. She was a sister who loved her sibblings more than life itself. As a Mother I know she was the best. You will be remembered forever by all who knew you. Your at peace now and with your parents. May God be with you forever.

I became friends with Kelly's son in college, and later became his roommate, which allowed me to meet Kelly on a couple of occasions. I stayed at Kelly and John's home once, she was always a wonderfully warm and caring person, and I do still remember her laugh. It is no surprise what an impact she had on those who's lives she touched.
