M-Jay Ross (2008-2026) succumbed to his congenital heart condition peacefully at home on the 4th of July.

M-Jay was born at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine to Alisha Goslin-Balfe and Mitchell D. Ross on April 21st, 2008. He attended Hampden Academy, then Riverside Education. M-Jay was one test away from receiving his diploma at the time of his passing. 

M-Jay loved joking around, his pets, video games, YouTube, watching movies, and above all, spending time with his family. Watching tv and hanging out with his Grandma Karen was one of his favorite things to do. M-Jay had a strong online presence and will be missed in the online world as well. 

He is survived by his mother, Alisha Goslin-Balfe and stepdad Ryan Balfe, father Mitchell D. Ross and stepmom Angela Bellino, best friend brother Cee-J Goslin and girlfriend Genevieve Walthers, stepbrother Drew Balfe and girlfriend Grace Hills, and stepsister Isabel Richards and boyfriend Jonathan Lukens. Special grandparents Bart and Karen Goslin, grandparents Darrell Ross and Vicky McGarity, and stepnana Debra Footman. M-Jay is also survived by special aunt Alanna and uncle Angel Quinones and cousins Malaya, Acacia, Alyda, Caleigh, and Vaughn, and special uncle Bart Goslin Jr. 

M-Jay is predeceased by his great grandmother Joan and great grandfather Robert Thomson, who were most definitely waiting for him with open arms. 

There will be a public viewing Friday, July 10th at Riposta Funeral Home in Belfast from 1-3pm, followed by a celebration of life at 104 & 108 Treat Point Road in Frankfort.
