It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theresa Kinney. She passed in her home on May 31, 2026. Theresa was born on October 14, 1959, to Kenneth Knudson and Marie Towns in Portland, Maine.

Theresa was predeceased by her parents, her step father, Sunny Towns, and her brothers, John Knudson and Joey Towns. Theresa is survived by her husband, Allen (Brent) Kinney, her siblings, Patty Wright and Kathy Kneeland, her daughters, Jennifer Maddocks and Virginia Catlin, and her grandchildren, Caitlin and Mason Maddocks. Her partnership with her husband brought her laughter and adventure. Together, they danced through life, and found joy in each other's company.

Theresa spent many years as a loving stay at home mom, later to pursue her passion as a caregiver at the University of Augusta, where she earned her associate's degree in Nursing. Theresa's journey saw her rise from Charge Nurse to the esteemed position of Director of Nursing at TallPines, and she gracefully concluded her career at Quarry Hill in Camden.

Theresa was known for her beautiful smile and laughter. She was passionate and strong willed. She loved reading, camping, dancing, and spending time with her sisters and family. Theresa was always eager to enjoy new experiences. She will be remembered with Love.

Celebration of life will be on June 20th 2026 starting 1pm. 72 Brock Road, Searsport, ME.
