Doug is and shall always be my friend. He helped me as well. Stan Foster would get Doug to fix his roofs. Once, Doug shingled Stan’s huge barn by himself. Doug carried on his shoulder many bundles of shingles up a long ladder and on one occasion Doug was stepping on the ladder to come down and fell right into a pile of bob wire and tire rims and various pieces of metal as Stan was a farmer but Doug didn’t get hurt, “ I could not believe it “. He wasn’t intimidated by heights and his nature was very calm cool and collected all the time. Very intelligent man and a high end roll model. He always amazed me how easy going he was. Such a great man that I felt fortunate in my lifetime I know this class act. My life is richer for knowing he was in it. I got you brother.
