Eric Raymond Marshall, age 54, passed away on May 15, 2026. He was born on September 8, 1971.

Eric grew up in Belfast and graduated from Belfast Area High School in 1990. He had a deep love for creativity and the performing arts that touched many lives throughout the years.

Eric had a passion for theater and was actively involved with the Belfast Maskers, where he shared his talent and love of the stage. He was also a member of the Kennebec Valley Chordsmen and enjoyed the friendships and music that came from being part of the chorus. Outside of theater and music, Eric had a creative spirit and especially enjoyed making puppets, bringing imagination and joy to those around him.

Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Carter; his grandparents, Raymond and Gladys Carter; and his aunt, Lisa Carter.

He is survived by his sister, Tammie Alley and her husband, Dennis Alley; his niece, Maegan Alley and her partner, Ryan Stoddard; his nephew, Branden Alley and his wife, Nutnita Alley; one great-niece; and two great-nephews, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Eric will be remembered for his creativity, love of the arts, and the kindness and joy he shared with others. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Belfast, Maine. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Eric’s life and the memories he leaves behind.
