Frances (Fran) Labossiere, 81, of Stockton Springs Maine, beloved wife of David Labossiere, passed away peacefully at home on May 11, 2026.

Born August 26, 1944 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Fran was the daughter of the late Francis Sikonski and Elizabeth Bobola. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1965 and dedicated 25 years of her career to serving veterans as a nutritionist at the VA Hospital in Rocky Hill, CT. She took great pride in her work and the opportunity to care for those who served our country.

Fran and Dave began their life journey together in Windsor, Connecticut, where they built a wonderful life before retiring and splitting their time between their homes in Stockton Springs, Maine, and Sahuarita, Arizona. Together, they traveled extensively over the years, creating countless memories and adventures along the way.

Fran had a larger-than-life personality and found joy in the simple things that made a house feel like home. She loved gardening, especially tending to her beloved rose bushes. She never passed up a shopping trip and had a gift for finding the perfect surprise for those she loved — whether there was a holiday, birthday, or no occasion at all. She adored decorating for every holiday and became known for her extensive collection of salt and pepper shakers, including favorites like her puffin and boxer dog sets that always brought smiles and laughter.

Above all, Fran loved her family deeply and wholeheartedly.

She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 33 years, David Labossiere; her children, Justin Labossiere and his wife Jennifer, and Jennifer Roberts and her husband Derek; her grandson, Jordan Labossiere; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Fran will be remembered for her generosity, her spirited personality, her thoughtfulness, and the love she poured into every detail of life. Her presence filled every room, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
