Leroy S Harriman 81 of Belmont passed away April 26, 2026. He was born on December 5th, 1944. Son of Beatrice Harriman after completing Crosby High of Belfast in 1963. Leroy proudly served his country joining the Marines serving four years after returning to Maine as sergeant.

His dedication to service continued, joining the Army national Guard for twenty years as staff sergeant. Over the years Leroy worked in many roles. Driving truck for Dragon Cement for twenty years, drove for Belfast Waldo transportation Cap for thirteen years.

In addition to traveling around the U.S. many happy times camping, fishing, traveling the Sunrise trail on side by sides. Leroy was very interested in his ancestry and spent many hours researching.

Leroy is survived by his wife Gail (Doughty) Harriman, his son Leroy S Harriman Jr, grandson Karmen of Belfast. Matthew & Daughter-in-law Joanne Harriman of Hancock. Leroy was preceded by his infant granddaughter Grace C Harriman.

Surviving siblings- Linda Pomeroy of Searsport, Alice Robbins of Belfast and Dewaine Harriman of Arizona. Stepchildren John Robbins Jr of Portland, Edward Mylen III of Belfast. Many step grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous close friends.  

A graveside service will be held at Grove Cemetery in Belfast on May 9th ,2026 at 1:00 pm
