On Monday morning, February 9th 2026, Patricia T. Jones passed away in her sleep, in her bed, at home. Patty was an exceptional women, who will be missed by many. She was born in New York on August 21st 1959. Her mother Wanda and father Isaac Richardson moved around a lot. They worked very hard and raised four children, Michael, Patty, Sussie and Ronda. Patty was a thrifty as well as crafty women. She enjoyed horses, music, painting/drawing and photography. After finishing beautician school, she was a hair/make-up artist in Vero Beach Florida. Patty moved to Waldo County Maine in 1988, she worked as a bakery/deli manager at IGA. She was a loving wife of Kenneth R. Jones. She raised two sons, Brandon and Rob (not many women can say, “Yes I have two sons, yes twelve years apart… but born on the same day!”).

Patty was a kind soul, who would give you the shirt off her back, who loved to make people smile and laugh. Patty leaves behind two sons, as well as six grandchildren: Braydon, Camdon, Brice, Grace, Joe and Sam. Patty was a proper lady, her friends and family shall  miss her, and loved her very much. I’d like to think she’s somewhere, sitting on a dock of the bay with Kenny… watching time slip away…
