Heidi Renee Kimball Obituary

Heidi Renee Kimball, age 47, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 5, 2026. She was born on August 3, 1978, to Darrell Kimball and Dee Thompson.

She is survived by her father, Darrell Kimball, and stepmother, Rhonda (Nickerson) Kimball; her sister, Hillary Kimball White, and brother-in-law, Chad White; her niece, Sophie White; her nephews, Caleb and Ross White; her brother, Dylan Alley; and her niece and nephew, Lydia and Ryelan.

Heidi spent her life working hard and living with dedication. She took pride in everything she did and was deeply committed to her work. Over the years, she worked in a variety of roles, including at the Smoke Shop, and most recently with Pride Manufacturing, where she continued to demonstrate her strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment.

Heidi had a deep, unwavering love for animals and was known by many as an “animal whisperer.” Her compassion and patience seemed to speak directly to them. She leaves behind her beloved pets, Athena and Zander, who are now lovingly cared for by her best friend, Fran Kaminski.

She was predeceased by her mother, her grandparents, her cherished dog, Thor, and the love of her life, Steven.

Heidi was a loyal friend and held many people especially close to her heart, including her cousin Leo “PJ,” as well as Eric, Christopher, Crystal, Faye, Jenn, Jessica, Ash, Jimmy, Joe, and many, many others who were part of her life in meaningful ways.

She found joy in the things she loved fiercely—dragons, Stitch, Marvin the Martian, The Nightmare Before Christmas, tattoos, Grunt Style, reading, and art. She had a remarkable ability to listen without judgment and was always willing to lend an ear or a hand to anyone in need. Her love extended deeply to animals and plants alike, and she was especially passionate about advocating for Tennessee death row dogs.

While the absence of a service may be difficult for many, it was her wish to have no services. She would have wanted those who loved her to celebrate her life in the same way her friendships existed—individually, authentically, and in their own way. Every relationship Heidi had was unique, shaped by different chapters of her life. Some bonds were strong, some faded with time, but each held meaning. May each person find their own way to remember Heidi and find peace in their personal connection with her. You may have loved her deeply, struggled with her at times, or found yourself somewhere in between—but there was no denying the lasting impression she left.
