​Cyril B. Pyle Sr., 86, of Winterport, passed away on December 16, 2025.  

Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Cyril was the son of the late Herbert M. Pyle and Stella J. Pyle. Cyril served in the military (USMC) from May 12, 1967, to May 13, 1971, earning various medals and graduating from engineer school, Camp Lejeune, N.C. - As a metal worker, Cyril dedicated his professional life to welding until his retirement. Cyril loved spending time with his family, loved to play solitaire, and was a true Elvis fan.

Cyril was a loving husband, father, and grandfather; his humor lives on through his children and grandchildren, who cherished his jokes and cheerful demeanor.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Pyle, and brother Herbert Pyle Jr.

He is survived by 15 children: Kelly Pyle, Cyril Pyle Jr. and wife Marie, Charles Pyle, Michelle Pyle, Elizabeth Kendall and husband Ben, Timothy Pyle and wife Angela, Estella Evans and husband Paul, Marianne Pyle, Shawn Pyle, Michael Pyle, Paul Pyle and wife Kimber, Courtney Kinney, and husband Joshua, Brian Pyle, and wife Kayla, Jessica Kyser, and husband Philip, and Kendall Pyle; 45 loving grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, brother Lewis Pyle; and several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2025, at 1 pm at Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast, Me. 04915
