Michele C. (Ziegmont) Woodbury, died in Lisbon, Maine on December 5,2025.
Born on May 13, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the only child of Raymond M. Ziegmont and Blanche C. (Hollomon) Ziegmont, late of California.
A gifted soprano vocalist, Michele earned her way through college in California as an introductory and back up singer at several large Las Vegas entertainment venues. After graduation Michele had careers in public education, real estate and property development.
Moving to Trenton, Maine in 2001, she became involved in various public service organizations including the Ellsworth Historic Preservation Commission, the Union River Watershed Coalition and the Ellsworth City Manager's Select Committee for Waterfront Development. She believed her life's greatest happiness was in the success of her marriage and her positive contributions to the community in which she lived and to the State of Maine.
Michele is survived by her husband, Roger M. Woodbury, of Morrill, Maine; her two children, on grandson and two great grandchildren all of Florida.
A memorial service for Michele will be held at the Belfast Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses on a date to be determined.
